Your Ramasside Tours guide and manager will be waiting inside the Alexandria Port for you. They will be holding a sign showing your name. You do not need to look for them - they will be waiting for you and will find you.
From the moment your tour starts, your guides will give you full attention. Once in the car, your guide will talk to you about all the things on the way as well as other aspects of your tour that will interest you.
Travel to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is the only museum in Egypt which offers a general overview of all the all different historical periods of Egypt. It has more than 50,000 artefacts, presenting Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present day.
The Royal Mummies Hall inside The Egyptian Civilization Museum is a must-see area. It has a separate section where royal mummies unearthed from various tombs are preserved. The room is climate controlled and the mummies appear to be looked after well. Mummified over 4000 years ago, you can see the mummies of Kings of Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis and Ramses in good condition. The kings and queens have lean bodies and the mummies appear smaller and shorter in size than their original stature. Walk around leisurely in this room and look at Pharaohs and queen resting in peace in a climate controlled rooms, far removed from their original resting place.
Then visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.
End the day with an optional visit to traditional bazaars then drive back to your cruise ship 2 hours before your departure time. If time permits, we can make some photo stops in Alexandria.

Kindly note that the hotel rating in Egypt is not the same as in USA or Europe, so 5* hotels are always recommended. The 3* & 4 * hotels aren’t recommended as we receive complaints from our guests about them.
We pick you up from inside the port next to your ship. Other unlicensed companies cannot provide this service and guests are forced to walk 2 kilometers to the gate of the port.
We return you to the ship within 2 hours of departure so that you are assured you will not miss your ship.

All tours don't include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as walking inside one of the pyramid to see the deep burial chambers and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or to enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost. These are the circumstances for all tourists to Egypt with all companies. We will sell you the tickets at cost price, with no profit to ourselves should you wish to purchase any.
Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket.
